Details about the desktop side of the Intel Ivy Bridge CPU family surfaced on the web late last month. Now, it’s the turn of the Ivy Bridge mobile CPU lineup. Our friends over at VR-Zone on Tuesday leaked Intel’s Ivy Bridge mobile CPU roadmap. As with their desktop counterparts, the mobile chips will also arrive in the second quarter of 2012. Hit the jump for details.
The mobile lineup will include eight chips in all, to wit i7-3920XM, i7-3820XM, i73720XM, i7-3520M, i5-3360M, i5-3320M, i7-3667U and i5-3427U. The last two are low-power U-Series parts that will power the second wave of ultrabooks. The specs of each of the above-mentioned chips can be found below:
As is clear from the above slide leaked by VR-Zone, the Ivy Bridge mobile CPU family will include a fairly varied spread of standard voltage M-Series processors, with the quad-core i7-3920XM "Extreme Edition” processor at the very top and the dual-core i3-3320M at the exactly opposite end. The new chips will all boast Intel HD 4000 graphics and 1600MHz DDR3 RAM.
The three quad-core processors will arrive in April, with the rest of the lineup debuting the following month. Read more at....
